Continuous Professional Development Day Successfully Observed in All 16 Regions – GES

The one day orientation programme for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) which has been adopted into the academic calendar by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to allow teachers to upgrade themselves with the requisite knowledge and skills in the teaching profession has ended successfully in all the 16 regions in Ghana.

The GES in a statement signed by its Head, Public Relations, Cassandra Twum Ampofo said the CPD day will be held four times in a year in a bid to improve teaching and learning outcomes as well as enhance the image of the teaching profession..

“As part of GES effort to improve its workforce, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) has been formally adopted into the Academic Calendar to allow teachers upgrade themselves with the requisite knowledge and skills in the teaching profession”.
