The Ghana Education Service has begun a 4-day Intervention training workshop for all core subject teachers in the 722 Senior High Schools across the country.
The training, which started on Monday in five University centres, is to equip the core subject teachers in content mastery to be able to teach all subjects effectively, especially challenging topics in the syllabus.
This will also help schools and teachers become better prepared to teach students for better learning outcomes.
Heads, Assistant Head academic, Heads of Department were also trained in December 2019.
The training is part of the Ministry of Education’s effort to improve quality teaching and learning in the wake of Free SHS and the Double-track system.
