The Ministry of Education (MOE) is responsible for setting Education Policies for Ghana. These policies are implemented by its 22 agencies of which the National Inspectorate Board is one.
The Ministry of Education’s goal for the year 2020 is “Changing Ghana Through Education: Building an educated, skilled and confident society, equipped with global competencies.”
The NIB is mandated by the Ministry of Education to set and enforce quality standards that are to be observed in all public and private pre-tertiary schools. We do this through the deployment of our Inspection Evaluation Framework (IEF).
