Websaet Team wishes all bece 2019 candidates well in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examinations which is starting from Monday June 10 to Friday June 14, 2019.
May all the over 376,000 participating candidates achieve the results they deserve.
We wish to remind them to avoid any form of cheating before, during and after the examinations. The WAEC law (Act 719) makes it an offence for any candidate to cheat before, during or after the examinations. When caught, their papers can be cancelled or they could go to jail.
Websaet Team Wishes All Bece 2019 Candidates Well
We acknowledge that sometimes other candidates’ cheating leads to the punishment of innocent people. That is why we will like to encourage the candidates to be bold and report anybody, including teachers, head of schools, invigilators, and WAEC officials who attempt to help others to cheat whether before, during or after the examinations.
If a candidate hears that there is a leaked WAEC examination questions, he/she should please report it immediately to the Headmaster/mistress or WAEC officials or even to the police.
We would also like to remind parents and the school authorities not to lose sight of the fact that in their efforts to ensure that their wards and their pupils excel in the examination, they should not sidetrack the moral issues that accompany such efforts. Parents, pupils and the School authorities must remember there is no substitute for hard work.
Excellence comes after one has worked hard for it.
We would like to take this opportunity to plead with parents to provide their wards with the much needed logistics, particularly food and peace during this one week examination period.
Once more, Challenging Heights wishes our children the best of luck in the Basic Education Certificate Examination and will continue to pray for their success. May their performance in the BECE be the yardstick towards the attainment of their individual Eldorado.
