About Us

Websaet is a leading, trusted, widely-acknowledged dedicated education news platform in Ghana covering inequality and innovation in education with in-depth journalism that uses research, data, and stories from classrooms and campuses to show the public how education can be improved and why it matters.

The portal was launched by a privately owned company in 2019 and operates under the laws of Hong Kong. Through this legal setup, we publish education news from Ghana in a completely independent and neutral manner.

Our portal is constantly being improved and extended by talented web developers and web designers. At a functional level, the portal is designed to meet the requirements of the 1 million unique visitors who patronize georgeweb.org each month. At a technical level, the portal is built to load smoothly and reliably even in remote parts of Africa.

Our Journey

In 2019, we started Websaet as a dedicated education news platform committed to bringing the Ghanaian audience the most accurate and researched educational information to help their academic way of life.

In the following years, the website has turned into one of the most significant education news channels and working as a bridge between a large number of communities.

We are continuously working in the direction to better the platform and would love to hear your valuable thoughts and feedback to make it more resourceful.

What We Do

We are dedicated to providing a platform where students and the general public can share and find all the information that matters to them. The information shared here subsumes all education activities be it campus news, articles and opinions, notices and announcements, event updates, and any other educational activities that have not been mentioned here.

Content on this site (text and media) is published by a dedicated, passionate and talented pool of writers from the “Websaet Team” trained with a high emphasis on accountability, comprehensiveness, professionalism, quality, responsibility, and reliability. We also work with students because we want to provide a platform where students themselves share the information that matters to them while adhering to basic journalism ethics and principles.

In order to allow our readers and fans to keep up with all the fun we share on this site, we have established ourselves on the major social networks – (twitter & facebook – @thewebsaet), where we share the things on this site and engage with our readers and fans on a personal level.

Our Goal

Our goal is simple. We allow the flow of information that matters to the students to have no bounds; to provide a platform where the students can share and find the things that interest them; to have a place where the students can speak and be heard, and ultimately for the students to have a thing of their own.
